I am in my 18th year of school counseling and my 10th year at Holbrook. I graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College (now University) in 1996 with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. I then attended Gaston College and earned an AS in Paralegal Technology. After that, I decided counseling was my calling, and began my MA in Counseling at Gardner Webb University. I graduated from GWU in 2001. In 2006, I earned my Post-Masters Certificate in School Counseling from UNC Greensboro. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Board Certified Counselor, a National Board Certified School Counselor, and a National Board Certified Teacher.
I enjoy spending my free time with my daughter, and watching the Tarheels. I also like to read, listen to music, play in African Drum Circles, and laugh!
